Life Is Strange..

Life Is Strange....thats the only utterence that i remember when we going to watch the play 'Passion' by Joe Hafsham at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts (KL PAC). the play was a dance performing theater that was being played by Aris Kadir, Judimar Hernandez, Amy Len and others.this is the second time i watch the play. The story was about a man who was being betrayed by his girlfriend by making an affair with other man. At the end, his girlfriend actually was a lesbian.. it was different because the way the director present it. it was a dance performance play. To understand the play, you must enjoyed the dance. In my opinion, i think that the story was quite good actually. Because i think the way the actor present his feeling we can easily understand. Even though the play was not really intresting..but at least i enjoyed myself. that all thank you..bye..

REFLECTION ON MY INDIVIDUAL SIMULATED TEACHING

Hi….today..I want to comment on my own individual simulated teaching..first of all, I don’t know why, I already do a simulated teaching few times before, but still I will get nervous and lost my word in front of the class…maybe not enough practicing I guess..ok back to my comment, I already prepared two set induction for my teaching first show a picture and second a cartoon video clip, but lastly, I go with my second choice which is showing my student a cartoon video clip that will related to my theme that I want to teach, blindness. Actually I was quite excited about the clip and when I show to my students, firstly they think that it was cute but then until half of the clip they start to scream because the cartoon was too how to say…scary…I guess.. It is because the cartoon show about one of the cartoon character lost his eyes because his not very careful in what his doing. What I want they to learn to take a very good care about their eyes because once you lost it, you will never get to replace it. But at the end of my teaching, my subject tutor comments that the clip was too violent and not suitable to show to my student.hmm..maybe I should go with my first choice, showing them a picture..to my friends that act to be my students that day..sorry you guys..but at least some of u enjoy the clip isn’t it?...

reflection on friend presentation (simulated teaching)

During a few week left before this semester will ended, we supposedly have to do a simulated teaching. We were divided to group which each group has two people in it. During this time I was excited because that was the only time we can see our friend was teaching and we are supposed to be the student. Before that, we are supposed to do an individual simulated teaching.
I love to comment on my friend Jasmine individual simulated teaching. I think her doing a very good job when teaching. I like her set induction very much; I think that she has come out with an interesting set induction. That time we are supposed to teach the theme in Oedipus Rex by Sophocles. She had chosen to go with the blind theme. What she does is, she ask student to come out, close their eyes with a shawl, and then put their hand in a bag that she had provided to feel and touch it. Then the student had to guess what in the bag.
I think that her style was inspired me a little and overall, her simulated teaching doing very well and all the exercise was related to what she wants the student to understand.

Reflection on movie

First of all, this class is the second class that we attend that we had to watched the movie. The first class was when we are in the previous semester which is in the teaching the language of novel by Puan Juridah. We were so happy that we’ve has been told to watch Shakespeare movie entitled Shakespeare Wallah. The most interesting part in this movie was, the movie was setting in India.
Most of the actor and actress was an Indian. Shakespeare Wallah was a story about a family who devoted and loves to act Shakespeare works. The family was in India for performing a play. The story continues with introducing the hero which is an Indian actor who was fall to their daughter and after that there comes the conflict where the lead actor actually has someone else who was the famous actress I India that time.
My opinion about the story was, the story even it was in I’m not sure in what year, this was a very interesting with mixing of Indian language. It was like a variety of language in one story. The movie has a very good flow in the story. When we watched the story, we can easily understand the massage. That all I think..bye..

Comment on character Teiresias in play Oedipus by Sophocles.

After reading the play, Oedipus by Sophocles, I want to comment about one of the characters in the play, which is Teiresias. As far as I can see the character has a lot of differences between the main character itself which is Oedipus. Tireasias was a blind soothsayer or fortune teller. He was also describing as blind seer (prophet) and a wise man. Teiresias was accompanied by Page who was actually helping him for moving. That can proved by looking at the text for the play, page 1392 lines 82
‘Enter the blind seer Teiresias, led by Page’.
That shows that, Teiresias was getting help to move around. Even though, he was blind, Teiresias was wise and good at heart. He can see what people who was not blind cant see.

When I Read......

When I read the poem The Four Stages of Man by W.B Yeats, I think that this poem are little bit difficult than As You Like It by William Shakespeare. Although the poem is shorter than William Shakespeare work, it is more difficult to understand.
In As You Like It by William Shakespeare, he remind us about our life where when we were born, until the day that we turn to be senile and then death. It is also describe to us how we are when we were old.
The poem The Four Stages of Man is about four stanzas and had eight lines. The poem is about the four ages of man which is as baby, teenager, adult and the last one old. The first stanza tells about when you are a baby, where you learn how to walk and all.
The second stanza tell us about the life when you were teenager where you follow your heart rather than your mind. In the third stanza the author tell us about life when you were an adult where everything you want to do, you must think about it first and this stages required your mind a lot.
The last stanza is probably when the man was old or the time has come to him to make his way to another life. What I learned from this poem is the author was trying to remind us that death come without knowing whether you are young or old. When the time comes, what ever you do, you must go. So as person who was moving on to their life, we must live our life in a very good way.

another reflections.....

In the second class for EDU 3217, teaching the language of drama our lecturer, Dr. Edwin asked us to give a life stage presentation or I called it acting. During in that class there is a few persons that were lucky (I guess) have to show their skill for acting. They have to recite the dialogue from our text book which is ‘Now Read On’. The dialogue is from Edward Bond from the story Bingo it is in page 28.That was really fun and I remember that we were laughing together at the lucky persons as they start open they mouth to recite the most short dialogue. It must be the way they do it because we found that some of our friends were good at it and have a good face impression. That all now…bye.
